To study the existing value chain of high value crops – Pigeon pea & mustard and to explore the scope of value addition and marketing of the same through farmers’ collective. The assessment of value chain would highlight inter-linkages of various stakeholders and intermediaries.

(1) Stakeholders and intermediaries currently involved in value chain and their respective margins (2) A viable business model - Value added products feasible, and marketing options for them

Expectations from interns:

(1) Willingness to stay in villages and field offices (2) Basic knowledge of agriculture (3) Understanding of developing a business model (4) Experience in value chain with FPOs or other agri businesses (5) Ability to communicate in Hindi helpful
